Elisabeth Geel can be defined a jazz singer as well as a singer-songwriter. She credits Laura Nyro and Joni Mitchell as early influences, but she was inspired in no lesser degree by traditional jazz, Brasilian music and funk. During her concerts she brings her own compositions and jazz standards in different settings ranging from solo to string orchestra.
